#Eventologists recently spent a week in #Glasgow setting up and managing a #medical #conference. Having spent a week with a truly professional people whose primary aim was to help us deliver a successful exhibition and conference, we really wanted to tell you about how great it was working at the #SECC.
The SECC is superbly located; just a few minutes from the heart of Glasgow and we ran the annual FIS conference here. Glasgow is Scotland’s biggest and most exciting city with some of the world’s most spectacular things to do in the city – so its great for attendees during downtime to go #shopping, sight-seeing or just people watch in a coffee shop!
Running our event and working with the SECC team was a dream throughout the year! When you have a multitude of rooms booked along with concurrent events, you really do need to consider lots of logistical and operational issues. The team gave us great advice as well as practical help to ensure that sessions during the conference ran smoothly. The exhibition space and build up ran perfectly to plan during a really busy week at the SECC as well as during a time where security presence had to be stronger. Excellent links and access made supplier deliveries quick and uncomplicated. During the live event, where issues and hiccups can occur, there’s always a ‘will do’ attitude that makes our clients’ lives simple, straightforward and stress-free.
Great venues and great service is always worth raving about so we’re proud to say that SECC wins our vote as a great place to bring #events in #Scotland!
