Eventologists transform The Brewery, London

Eventologists have been busy delivering new concepts and ideas in July and would like to share a stunning new theme that we’ve launched called Blue Sky thinking. This concept comes from inspiration that all conferences and companies are constantly searching for. Developing new ideas and looking at innovation is always on the agenda at conferences, exhibitions, corporate events, Gala Dinners, Awards evenings, or charity fundraising events, which is why we’re constantly thinking out the box and developing new ways of thinking.

We thought we would be even more literal and deliver a landscape that brings you Blue Sky Thinking. We’ve designed & produced giant clouds that suspend from the ceiling in a spectrum of colour changing lights setting the mood within the room. To create the horizon, we’ve made giant vintage light bulb chandeliers representing those light bulb moments. Hurricane statement centrepieces take centre stage on the tables depicting a melange of ideas and thoughts – a whirl wind of ideas.

When this theme is in the context of a Gala Dinner, bespoke light up cloud themed table centres finish the setting beautifully elegantly. Our Blue sky thinking theme is versatile and can be used at exhibitions, networking events, conferences and parties – dress up or dress down. It’s the party piece that will get your audience talking & create that wow factor.

We specialise in delivering atmospheric experiences and immersive creations inside, and outside using all the space provided. An excellent way to create an immersive event is to amaze and include your guests as they arrive. Before your event even starts, within the first few moments of people arriving, create theatre and incorporate a dramatic entrance piece or interactive features. We have multiple theatrical theme ideas and themed props which can be used to set the ambience and atmosphere. A fantastic way to make a statement and drama is the use of lighting alongside props to illuminate features creating depth – we work with a range of AV companies to light the venue to transform your space.

Once your guests have ventured through the atmospheric entrance they are sure to arrive at your drinks reception. This is the second captivating experience at your event following the exploration of an enticing pathway of creation. Once again this is an excellent opportunity for your guests to further their feeling of immersion and inclusion. Our new bespoke life-sized hobbit hole door is now complete and ready to transform events into unique magical creations.

Eventologists are delighted to announce the unveiling of our very own life-size Hobbit Hole door. What a great dramatic entrance to wow your guests as they arrive, an extraordinary entrance feature, or as a stunning walkway into a secret garden theme or Alice in wonderland party. The Hobbit Hole Door is so versatile and can be used to create a stunning immersive entrance into any venue or become an experiential feature in the room where you can encourage guests to go and explore. The premier of our new bespoke forest themed entrance was at Confex 2017, where guests were led through a maze of winter trees into an autumn garden!

The bold wooden structure is great for experiential and immersive projects where you want to create a statement that catches your eye. For those who are enticed and intrigued by the stunning design cannot walk by without wondering what lies the other side. Surrounded by an authentic brick wall, natural foliage, and life size trees, the only way to discover more is to open the door and explore further. Anyone who is about to pass the extraordinary Hobbit Hole Door stops and stares as their thoughts are taken over by the overwhelming depths of creativity. As you turn the wooden door knob and push the door open your mind is taken into the unknown, escaping to another world, leaving any reality behind. Once through the Hobbit Hole Door the walkway is dark and mysterious, illuminated at points, creating an illusion of being lost within an enchanted forest far far away. The atmosphere turns cold as your eyes capture the snow on the floor and icicles hanging from the trees believing you are lost within the depths of winter. Then suddenly the pathway turns and you bump into a mirage of vibrant colours and lights calling you further within. Your body is instantly warmed as you become aware of the summer glow beaming from the bright and intense colours. As you follow the path further into the forest your eyes set upon the blooming flowers and green trees,  creating the perfect woodland setting. After all the excitement you take a rest and sit upon the rustic log seating. You take a deep breath in feeling calm and peaceful. As your quest nears the end, you decide look upwards and into the branches of the trees to realise canapes are hanging above you waiting to be indulged. Just what is needed after such an adventure.

There are so many themes and types of events our Hobbit Hole Door or Rabbit hole entrance would suit and bring alive so many themed events.  As the year begins, events agencies and event professionals at venues and agencies will start to flesh out what key events to plan for in 2017. Specialist theming experts at Eventologists have been working on ideas that you may want to consider within the calendar of events to include in amongst the usual obligatory ones such as the annual conference and gala dinner, Christmas and awards dinners! 

 Valentine’s Day event ideas or corporate events around valentines. 

Cheese aside, Valentine’s event themes always conjure up bland ideas of reds, hearts and love signs and most people feel that Valentines isn’t very corporate so avoid it. Let’s face it, it’s an important calendar date; the first after Christmas and it’s hard to ignore! Instead we suggest ideas that can complement valentines such as a stunning Glam and Glitz themed event, a burlesque themed event, a Venetian  themed event such as a masked ball or masquerade!  The arrival of Spring or Easter – venue dressing ideas

Spring is a great time to hold events and options and ideas are so wide and varied as regards to room dressing and venue decor. A Spring Garden Theme, an uplifting Japanese Garden Theme full of blossom trees and a four seasons theme! A return back to children’s classics such as Alice in wonderland theme, Mad Hatters theme or Enid Blyton’s secret garden – are all popular ideas for around spring time 

 Summer solstice – summer themed events 

We then move to the summer where things get hotter and bolder! Colours are bolder and brighter, themes are wilder and people are a lot more prepared to test new theming ideas in the summer! Carnival is always a good choice for summer corporate events! However as the popularity of festivals have grown in the last few years with festivals such as Camp Bestival, Download, Reading festival and Glastonbury being the leading the way as festival favourites, festival themed events or outdoor themed events have become a firm favourite as an alternative to colourful themed summer events

Autumn events 

A beautiful time of year as the leaves change colour and an important time for corporates organising award dinners and conferences. Venues U.K. wide are busy delivering and managing conferences. Consider colours that work with the season such as gold, rusts, dark greens. Themes can range from Enchanted Woodland to cirque de soleil to just simple glam options with crystal or light up table centres. As the nights turn darker, more sinister and eerie themes enter the corporate calendar. A Night at the Movies – A Hollywood Themed Event

Hollywood themed parties are always a popular theme when choosing a glam and glitz themed event and the Eventologists team delivered a magical event recent with a Hollywood theme that took party guests from old Hollywood theme to modern day Hollywood – We called it a night at the movies!

Paparazzi entertainers took images of glamorous guests as they walked down the red carpet and arrived into a stunning glitterati drinks reception where they were greeted by Hollywood look alike characters. The room was dressed with Hollywood props from Oscar statue props, film reel props, movie camera props, giant clapper board props to set the scene and put guests in the mood to go to the movies.

The main room was a sharp contrast to the traditional red, gold black that we associate with Hollywood themed event décor. We painted the room in a rainbow of colours! A completely colourful theme with colour draping, light up poseur tables, light up table centres which changed colour – A tribute to the colourful history of a night at the movies. Though it was a twist to a Hollywood Party theme, revelers loved the element of surprise through the evening where we revealed entertainment through the evening – Hollywood casino hire, a vintage Hollywood photobooth, showgirls on stilts to meet and greet guests and then a massive reveal for our guest band – The Cuban Brothers who rocked the party! Oh what a night!

Pharmatologists, Eventologists’ Healthcare Events division have just successfully delivered the OPAT conference at the ICC Birmingham with the aim to deliver great knowledge about OPAT services in the UK. The conference was fully subscribed with the highest attendance of such a show with key branding in the Pharmaceutical industry such as Pfizer, Cardiome, Basilea, MSD, BARD, 3M, Vygon all showcasing their developments and work of OPAT services at the exhibition at ICC. Healthcare events specialists, Pharmatologists have been creating opportunities and strategies  to deliver positive delegate experience and excellent sponsor return on investment for societies across the UK through a unique approach of underwriting all the events so charitable organisations such as societies, who have limited resources, do not need to take the risk of outlaying anything financially. The OPAT event has been an excellent example of such an event. Having launched the Healthcare Events Agency in April, Pharmatologists  has secured some excellent projects which include the European Vaccines and Diagnostics at QE11, Federation of Infectious Societies to name but a few. The unique approach as well as the in house production facilities and skills makes Pharmatologists a unique brand with a unique point of difference to drive sales further in 2017.
