- Reducing the need to travel through use of technology, home working and favouring multi-purpose journeys to one area of the country and car sharing where possible.
- Eco-friendly event production, maintenance and cleaning practices favouring local suppliers, where they are available.
- Offsetting as much as possible carbon emissions generated through our business activities.
- Sourcing and buying local – Most of our manufacturing is carried out by local crew. Our purchasing of goods and services is limited, we endeavour to source from local and/or ethical businesses wherever possible.

Commitment to Equality & Diversity
We believe that excellence will be achieved through recognising the value of every individual. We aim to create an environment that respects the diversity of staff and students, enabling them to achieve their full potential, contribute fully and derive maximum benefit and enjoyment from their involvement in the life of the University.
To this end, we acknowledge the following basic rights for all members and prospective members of our community:
- To be treated with respect and dignity
- To be treated fairly with regard to all procedures, assessments and choices
- To be encouraged to reach one’s full potential
These rights carry responsibilities and we require all members of our community to recognise these rights and act in accordance with them. In addition, we will comply with all relevant legislation and good practice.
No individual will be unjustly discriminated against. This includes, but is not limited to, discrimination because of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion and belief, sex and sexual orientation.
Philanthropy & Community Support
Supporting UK’s Mental Health Foundation
We donate £100 of every event over £1000 to charities and good causes. Our champion charity is Mental Health Foundation which works on strategies and research that looks to prevent mental health issues. We are particularly interested in mental health in the Events Industry amongst staff, suppliers, professionals and customers.
The Events Industry is regarded as one of the top 10 most stressful professions. Through work with the Mental Health Foundation and other practitioners, our contribution is aimed at supporting individuals in finding coping strategies to combat stress and anxiety whilst working, and in their daily lives.
Providing Concessions for Charity Events
In addition to our work with Mental Health Foundation and volunteering in our community, Eventologists provides in-kind support and large concessions to various charities who wish to theme their charity events with us. In 2019, we gave away £47,000 worth of concessions in event theming to charity organizations nationally.
Preferred Wellness Practitioners for Discounted Services
Our Directors, Rita and Sital Chandarana, are passionate about helping individuals improve their mental health, combat loneliness, and take control of their lives through various natural wellness methods.
As additional support, we’ve partnered with the following practitioners to offer our clients and community discounted wellness services that we’ve personally benefited from:
Hypnotherapy: Unblock Limiting Patterns and Transform your Life
Rapid Transformational Therapy™ (RTT) combines the most beneficial aspects of hypnotherapy, NLP and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to enable you to access the subconscious mind to uncover, reprogram and upgrade limiting patterns and conditioned behaviours. RTT enables you to tap into your subconscious mind to access the root cause of your mental and physical blocks so you can effectively heal and create permanent change in your life. RTT is rapid, producing swift and lasting results in typically just one session.
Our RTT specialist, Gerard Hill is a qualified hypnotherapist, trainer and mentor. In the past, he has worked with Eventologists on many events and is therefore passionate about helping other event crew members and the larger community through his services.
You can book a FREE 30-minute Discovery Call with Gerard on his website, The Transformation Therapy, to learn more.
Yoga & Meditation: Balancing the Body, Mind, Emotions and Energy Systems
Yoga is not simply an exercise form, it is a way of creating balance and harmony between your segregated and limited internal world and the vast, inter-connected and infinite external universe.
The science of yoga provides tools to align your system with the cosmic geometry, through various branches, including asanas (physical postures), kriyas (inner energy processes), pranayama (breathe mastery techniques), meditation (mindfulness practices), mantra (raising vibrations) and more.
