When Eventologists went to Crufts April 2020

We have the pleasure of working with pet related events for corporate events throughout the country. We had the pleasure of creating an English Pub Theme for Crufts this year!

The Theme

How else do you spend lazy summer evenings and cold winter nights in a small village? In the local of course, with a pint in one hand and your dog in toe! Eventologists were asked to create a pub scene for owners and their dogs to chillax during meals for attendees of the famous Crufts Show 2020.  Also requested was a space that was dedicated to man’s best friend and their owners to feel cosy – just like the local pub would be. Our Event Stylists – who are all dog lovers, selected some typical Pub Themed Props to dress the room. Props included Beer barrels used as poseur tables, Rustic Bar Tables and bar stools, Pub signs, A frame signs, An artificial oak tree which took central stage in the room, Comfy sofa’s and bar stools for the lounge bar and of course no pub would be complete without pub picnic benches!

There was a Crufts Theme Gala Event each day and our Light Up Labrador Table Centres glowed on tables complete with paw print branded boxes to sit on. AWWW you say – yes we said! They were just the cutest pooches of the show and should have won an award just for being so stunning sat on tables!

The Venue

Everyone loves their dog and we try and take them everywhere we can if we get the chance. More and more venues and hotels around the country are embracing the requirement to be more dog friendly and in particular the Hilton Hotels groupare leading the way creating spaces where dog and owner can feel welcome and comfortable. Being dog owners ourselves, we love Hilton Hotelsand always make it a point of booking Hilton as we know our little office dog Monkey will be welcome! Crufts is always hosted at The NECwith Hilton Birmingham Metropole being a main staycation for pet and owner. In fact our dog Monkey has had many fond visits to Hilton trotting around like a Quality Controller!
